Redden Farms is located in Midlothian, Texas, which is a suburb of the DFW metroplex. Midlothian is the hub for the cement industry in North Texas, with three cement production facilities and a steel mill.
Midlothian was first settled in the 1800s, when Sam Houston finalized peace treaties between the people of the region and the Republic of Texas. Ellis County was officially established by the Texas Legislature in 1849, and the town name of Midlothian was accepted by the local community in 1883.
Today, the town is 50.4 square miles, with a population of around 35,000 people. Our community is located just off the US 287 and US 67 juncture in northwestern Ellis County. Redden Farms is conveniently located about 26 miles from Dallas and about 34 miles from Fort Worth, providing easy access to either city.
